Do I Have A Case?

I always tell my clients, no matter what you’ve done in the past, today can be the first day of good decisions.  Hiring an attorney to advocate on your behalf is a positive step in the right direction.  At Pilgrim & Associates, we understand being accused of a crime is stressful.  Whether you or someone you know is charged with a traffic violation or a murder, we take our cases very seriously because we know you are placing your life or the freedom of your loved one’s life in our hands.

We use our influence and knowledge of the courts, the judges and the law to vigorously fight for you or your loved ones rights.  We often receive the best results for our clients because we are known as trial attorneys who are not afraid to try even the most difficult cases.  More often than not, we deal with prosecutors with heavy caseloads and not enough evidence to try a case.  We force the DA to make their case and go to trial or make a fair deal for our clients.  This type of negotiation takes skill, knowledge of the law and familiarity with the court system.

The criminal process may take up to a year and during that time, there are weeks and months of no actual court time.  We help our clients understand this and other steps in the process so they are kept abreast of what is going on with their case every step of the way.

For fifteen years, I have fought for justice on both sides of the law as a defense attorney and prosecutor.  I have tried over 100 cases, from misdemeanor battery to murder.  I have experience with every type of criminal matter from suppression motions to appeals to the highest courts in Georgia.

Although I cannot guarantee a particular outcome on a case, I stand on my winning track record and in fact, I have never lost a murder case as defense attorney or prosecutor.

Please take a moment to review my success stories to see what I have done for clients in the past.
